They are also human being

Musa Hassan the Inspector General of Police gave warning to NGOs to adhere to any decision made by the Majlis Fatwa.
Majlis Fatwa is a constitutional theocratic council that decides what can be done and what can’t for Malaysian Muslim. It consists of 14 persons who are being elected among their peers. (Please read peers as ‘among the ustaz-ustaz and ulama’-ulama’).
Malaysian populations are at about 27 million people and 60.4% of it are Muslim. But none of this 27 million or at least 60.4% of it elects the member of Majlis Fatwa. But at the same time any decision made by Majlis Fatwa is considered as law and binding. The status of the law enacted by them is at par with the law enacted by the parliament.
Malaysian parliament is also a council but elected by Malaysian citizen through democratic process (poll). The Government of Malaysia is elected by the member of the house of representative (part of the parliament).
It means that the people can check and control any wrongdoing made by the parliament and the cabinet. But people cannot control any wrongdoing made by Majlis Fatwa as there are no means for us (via law) to fire them or at least question any law made by them.
How can we ensure that Majlis Fatwa and ulama’ is not corrupted and do the best for Malaysia and Malaysian?
How can we ensure that they (Majlis Fatwa and ulama’) are Saint and not a normal human being like us that have lust and greed?
How can we ensure that they (Majlis Fatwa and ulama’) are not easily being lured of money and power?
How can we know they (Majlis Fatwa and ulama’) really decide based on Quran or they just want to ensure their personal interest being protected?
